Congratulations to all of our Contestants!
All the young people who competed in the Club contest put a great deal of time and energy into
writing and practicing their speeches. This year, we had twelve participants, and there is no question about it:
the judges had a very difficult decision to make!
A very special "Thank you!" goes to our volunteer judges, and to the teachers and principals who contribute a great deal of time and energy
to this project in selecting the contestants. Thanks also to club members John Haselden, Nic Quintana, Rex McClain,
Dave Mueller, Bob Thompson, and Oratorical Chair Jeff Binkley.
Charleston Shi and Claire Trinkle competed in the Regional Contest on March 21st. Charleston won second place, and Claire also did very well.
